Access Milwaukee County Oblique Photography

The American Geographical Society Library has negotiated a single seat of access to the CONNECTExplorer product for viewing Milwaukee County oblique photography.  According to the A to Z GIS dictionary (ESRI Press), an oblique photograph is "an aerial photograph taken with the axis of the camera held at an angle between the horizontal plane of the ground and the vertical plane perpendicular to the ground."  This allows for analysis not possible with a typical orthophoto (straight down) such as measuring building heights and calculating relief.

This product needs to be used at the AGS Library and requires a login.  Please make an appointment by contacting Stephen at srappel@uwm.edu to ensure that we have a workstation available.
