UW System Borrowing: University of Wisconsin System Borrowing allows library users with a valid UWM ID to request, borrow and return materials from any participating library within the UW System. These requests usually take 3-5 business days. Users may request these materials online and pick them up (and return them) at the Circulation Desk. UWM students and faculty also have access to any UW System library. Use your UWM ID card to gain entrance and check out materials from any UW System library.
Interlibrary Loan: When articles and materials are not available through UW System Borrowing, obtain them by making a request through ILLiad. For more on ILLiad, click here. (Exception: Items that are held at the UWM Libraries, but are on reserve or are checked out, may NOT be requested through Interlibrary Loan).

The books at UWM Libraries are all shelved according to the Library of Congress Classification System.
Television is an interdisciplinary area. As such, there are many different areas within the library with books on this topic. These areas will all have different call numbers and can be found in different places within the library. Click here for building information and floorplans.

HE 8689 - 8700.95 is for television broadcasting within the telecommunications industry.
LC 6571 - 6581 is for books pertaining to television and education--instruction by radio and television.
TK 5101 - 6720 is the telecommunications section, including telephone, radio, and television.
