Search for Historiography Literature at UWM

The library catalog, Search@UW, is a good place to start to find historiography literature. To build your search:

1. Open Search@UW, the main Library search tool
2. Choose the option to start an Advanced search to the right of the search bar.
   ...in the first line of your search...
3. Set the first drop-down menu to 'Subject' and leave the second drop-down menu to set to 'contains words'
4. In the blank space, type a Historiography (or one of the alternative search term suggestions at the bottom of this box)
   ...in the second line of the search...
5. Do not change the drop-down menus.
6. In the blank space, type a term that describes the topic of your research such as Paris Commune
7. Click 'Search'
