Local files - located in the Library special collections drawers in L101.
The Waukesha Library retains some local files about the Field Station that are available for students to use in the Library. They are:
- Documents related to the gift of the property from Gertrude Sherman to the University in 1967.
- Documents related to Wilderness University programs and courses offered at the Field Station between 1982 and 1996.
- Documents about the construction of the Gertrude Sherman classroom building and dedication on September 29, 2001.
- Sizable collection of articles about the Field Station published in SE Wisconsin newspapers, magazines, and other publications.
