The purpose of this guide is to provide you with access to different types of information resources to support your research in Linguistics. This guide contains links to information on the following:
Librarians at UWM Libraries are here to help you find information resources and develop a research plan at any stage of your research process. Please complete the form to request a research consultation with a subject expert.
Faculty, staff, and graduate students can request a private study carrel to support their research and writing. Graduate students require approval from a faculty sponsor. Carrel assignments are for the duration of one academic year (September 1 to August 31) and may be renewed annually.
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that indicates if the full-text of an article that you find on the open web is available through the UWM Libraries. LibKey Nomad works on publisher websites, PubMed, and Wikipedia to connect you to scholarly resources. If UWM does not have the full text, LibKey Nomad will route you to Search@UW with a link to easily submit an InterLibrary Loan request.
