Purpose:
The LibGuides Repository is the main bank of library learning objects. Its purpose is to facilitate quick and easy guide construction to support online learning and to ensure learners are exposed to consistent language and accessible learning objects as they develop their information literacy. Having a centralized mapping location also helps the Teaching and Learning team manage online instructional content, ensuring that materials meet a high standard for web accessibility, functionality, and relevance.
Using the Repository:
Boxes and objects in this guide should be mapped into your course and subject guides, so that instructional content and links will be uniformly updated and ready for guide users. Discipline-specific boxes and resources should be maintained in personal guides or repository accounts; the purpose of the repository is to house scalable content. If you'd like to suggest a box or resource to be added to the repository, contact Heidi at hanoszko@uwm.edu
What is an Asset?
Assets are reusable content (widgets, links, databases, books from the catalog, documents).
Reusing Assets
There are two ways to reuse an asset.
