What makes a well developed topic?

To find relevant sources about your research topic, you'll need to get specific about the:

  • People, groups, or organizations related to the issue you're researching 
  • Time period(s) or event(s) important to your topic
  • Places and contexts important to your topic
  • Theories, key concepts, or epistemologies connected to your topic
