Welcome Communication 103 students! This guide contains the diagrams, videos, and downloadable files you will need to complete the exercises in the Researching Your Speech chapter of the Stand Up Speak Out text. As you complete these activities, 24/7 online help is available via our Ask a Librarian chat widget. 

The Search Strategies tab contains a video on how to develop your research topic by finding key words along with example concept maps. In addition, there is a link to CQ Researching which will help you gather background information in your topic.  

The Identifying Sources tab contains the Neutral Source video and videos on selecting an article as well as information on evaluating web resources.
