Student Success

Support student learning, retention, graduation, and career readiness by providing evidence-based information literacy instruction and educational resources. Mentor graduate students and early-career professionals.

Research Excellence

Support the university’s research goals by providing access to resources, stewarding unique digital content and historical collections, participating in activities designed to create change in scholarly communication and track the university’s research outputs, and positioning the Libraries as a hub for research support services.

Financial Sustainability

Effectively communicate the core value of the Libraries to inspire and raise private support of $5 million dollars by 2020 from individuals and foundations for the Libraries’ campaign priorities as defined in the campaign prospectus. Priorities are: collection resources, Research Commons capital project, acquisition, preservation and digitization of unique collections, student internships and residencies, research fellowships, endowed directorship, and community outreach support.

Enable a highly effective and flexible library staff by creating collaborative growth opportunities in a rapidly and changing staff and resource constrained environment.
