The Library also has @30,000 vinyl records

LPs need to be pulled by staff before you pick them up. Follow these instructions to search for and request vinyl:

To search for vinyl records in the catalog:
  1. Enter the name of the artist or composer in the search box - press GO to search
  2.  In the "Refine my Results" column (left hand side), under "Show Only," click "Held by Library," and under "Resource Type," click "Audio"
  3. CDs will be listed as "C-Disc" with a call number and vinyl will only have a call number listed -- to verify that it is a vinyl, click the record and look under format for "33 1/3 rpm" or other vinyl format indicator

To Check Out Vinyl:
  1. Sign in to your library account using your ePanther ID and Password
  2. In Search@UW, search and click on the the title of the LP you'd like to check out
  3. Under the "Get it" section of the Search@UW page for the LP, click "Request"
  4. Submit your request form for the LP. You'll get a message to your UWM email account when the record is ready to pick up from the Equipment and Reserve desk on the first floor of the UWM Library.
