CGS Supporting Student Reading, Workshop 2: Reading Strategies

• access to a Jamboard that we will use for a group activity and discussion
• links to examples of each source type (via tabs on the left)
• the Expected Academic Skills chart discussed in the workshop
• the workshop presentation slides
• a bibliography of recommended readings

1)  Choose a source type that you typically use in your course or one that you'd like to explore further in terms of reading strategies.

2)  Work with your group to answer the questions on the Jamboard and add information and ideas to your group's page.  

3)  Use the tabs on the left of this guide to find example sources (if helpful for your group discussion).

Be ready to discuss with the larger group.
