Your UWM ID is your Library Card. You will need it if you come in to the Library to check things out in person. You will need your student ID number if you want to get materials through InterLibrary Loan or UW System Loan. See "Off-Campus Access" for more details.
Graduate Student Circulation Policies for Materials in the UWM Music Library
RefWorks - Build your bibliography automatically through export/import. Web based product accessible from anywhere. Find it on the Resources A to Z page. You'll need to set up your own account, but once you have you should be able to continue using even after you've left UWM.
UWM Libraries has many amenities to make your student-life easier:
-- The Daniel M Soref Learning Commons now includes a large number of computers, several group study rooms that can be signed up for in advance, reference services, and much more
-- The Grind coffee bar (1st floor, west wing): a great place to meet with peers
-- Free day-use lockers throughout the building

-- Wireless Internet access in most spaces in the library (register with your ePanther ID)
--Free digital scanning - scanners for print material located in the Music Library, Media & Reserve Library, and the Learning Commons: you can turn books, articles or microfilm into PDFs! Scanners for microformat material are available in the Media Library (lower level, west wing)
-Printers and photocopiers available throughout the building.
