The BBC and PBS created this wonderful series Shakespeare Uncovered. There are 12 episodes. Each one hosted by a well known actor or director and focusing on some aspect of Shakespeare's plays.

  • Episode 2 - Joely Richardson looks at the Comedies, especially the role of women in them
  • Episode 3 - Derek Jacobi explores Richard II
  • Episode 4 - Jeremy Irons covers Henry IV & Henry V
  • Episode 5 - David Tennant digs down into Hamlet
  • Episode 6 - Trevor Nunn explores The Tempest
  • Episode 7 - Morgan Freeman covers The Taming of the Shrew
  • Episode 8 - Joseph Fiennes examines Romeo and Juliet
