Databases are not as effective as Google at figuring out what you want. and use controlled vocabularies to describe articles. Controlled vocabularies prioritize certain ways of describing information, making it easier to organize and find that information. However, the subject terms used by databases may not be the first terms that come to mind when you brainstorm on your subject of inquiry. Use your search results to learn how a database describes your topic.

Databases are not as effective as Google at figuring out what you want.A database may not give you the result you are looking for when you use a search such as this:

Why did my dad leave his wallet at the bar?
However, you can get better results if you use the key concepts or keywords involved. In this case,  use words such as:
 
forget and drinking
 
 
or
 
alcohol and memory
