Amenities at the Library

UWM Libraries has many amenities that most people don't know about, such as:

--University Information Technology Services computers (Learning Commons, 1st floor, west wing)

--free laptop checkout from the Media and Reserve Library (Lower Level, west wing)

--the Grind coffee bar (1st floor, west wing): a great place to meet with students for one-on-one meetings or during office hours

--free lockers throughout the building

--quiet study floor (2nd floor, west wing)

--wireless Internet access in most spaces in the library (register with your EPanther ID)

--free digital scanning (scanners located in Current Periodicals and the Reference Room): you can turn books, articles or microfilm into PDFs!

--printers and photocopiers available

Get (Re)Acquainted with the UWM Libraries



The UWM Libraries is contained within the Golda Meir Library building, directly north of the Student Union.  The new Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons on the first floor of the west wing of the library opened in August 2009. The Learning Commons is open 24 hours a day, Sunday through Thursday when class is in session.
