Quick Search
Quick Search can help you get started when you need to find articles! It searches several databases at once. It is a good tool for getting started with your article search, but is not the only tool to use. There are many, many databases available to you at UWM; it searches only a few of them.
Searching using Quick Search will help you find some articles, but it may also help you judge if your topic is too broad or too narrow, and it will help you decide some databases to explore further. Remember to look for other useful databases by examining Resources A-Z or Resources by Subject/Major.

Find Resources
Find Resources lets you find the resources that are just right for your research need.
There are 3 methods for finding resources:
- By Name: You can specify what the title of the resource starts with, contains or is an exact match of the term
that you enter. You can also click a letter in the alphabet to see a
list of all the resources starting with this letter.Use this when you know the name of the resource you want to use.
- By Keyword: You can specify several criteria that identify the required resource such as name, subject and type, vendor, or any other word appearing in the description of the resource.
- By Subject: Select a subject or sub-topic to display a list of resources cataloged for that subject by UWM librarians.
