Founded in 1970, Canadian Brass (http://canadianbrass.com/) is a well-known brass quintet in America, playing a wide range of music from Bach to Beatles. Their brass quintet books are a staple in middle school/high school brass quintets.
German Brass (http://www.german-brass.de/german_brass.html?&L=2&L=2) is a brass ensemble of 10 brass players that was founded in 1974. They are known for playing a wide variety of brass instruments. In this video, a wide range of trumpets are used to try to replicate the sound of Bach with instruments designed from that period.
